Dean MacEachern B.Sc.(Hons.), P.Geo.
President, CEO and Director
Mr. MacEachern was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) in January 2006. Mr. MacEachern has explored for nickel-copper, base and precious metal deposits over the last 21 years throughout Canada, Africa and the South Pacific. He recently retired from Falconbridge Limited, one of the worlds largest nickel mining companies, after managing their Africa regional exploration office based in South Africa. Mr. MacEachern began his career as a geologist in the Abitibi of Ontario and Quebec and was instrumental in the discovery of the Kidd Depth base metal deposit in Timmins. He spent several years exploring in the Sudbury nickel camp where he was an integral part of the team which added more than 25 million tonnes to Falconbridge's nickel resources. In 2000 he became the regional manager of Falconbridge's western North America exploration office before relocating to the South Africa posting.

Donald A. McInnes, B.A.
Chairman and Director
Mr. McInnes holds a B.A. from Dalhousie University (1987). From 1987 to 1993, he was project manager for Equity Engineering, a mineral exploration consulting company based in Vancouver. In 1994 he founded Blackstone and has been its President and Director thereafter. Since 1992, Mr. McInnes has founded four other public companies, three of them involved in mineral exploration and one in the technology sector, raising some $30 million in venture capital for these and other enterprises. Mr. McInnes is also currently the President of Western Keltic Mines Inc. and Plutonic Power Corporation, a director of Fronteer Development Group and Atikwa Minerals Corp. and is past President of of the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines and a Director of the Pacific Museum of the Earth, the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and Advisory Board member to the Mining School at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. |

John Greig, M.Sc., P.Geo.
Director
Mr. Greig has played a key role in a number of successful exploration/development projects since 1969, both in Canada and internationally. He is a founding member of Sutton Resources Ltd., Cumberland Resources Ltd., Eurozinc Mining Corp., Crown Resources Corp., and Redcorp Ventures Ltd. and was on the board of directors of Winspear Resources Ltd. prior to the acquisition of the company by DeBeers. In addition to Blackstone, Cumberland and Eurozinc, Mr. Greig is currently on the board of directors of Diamondex Resources Ltd. and Dynamic Oil and Gas Ltd. Mr. Greig is experienced in the management and financing of public companies and has an enviable track record of recognizing undervalued geological assets.

R. Stuart (Tookie) Angus, LL.B
Director
Tookie Angus is an independent business advisor to the mining industry. He was most recently Managing Director - Mergers & Acquisitions for Endeavour Financial. Prior to joining Endeavour Financial, he was a partner at the Canadian law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin and headed that firm's Global Mining Group. For over 25 years, Tookie has focused on significant international exploration, development and mining ventures, and all aspects of their structuring and finance.
Tookie is also a director of Nevsun Resources Ltd., Bema Gold Corporation and Plutonic Power Corporation. He was a director of First Quantum Minerals Ltd. until June 2005 and resigned as a director of Canico Resource Corp. upon completion of a takeover by CVRD. He was Chairman of the Board of BC Sugar Refinery Limited.

Kelvin Dushnisky, M.Sc., LL.B
Director
Mr. Dushnisky is a lawyer with executive experience associated with a number of private and public companies. He joined Barrick Gold Corporation in 2002 and is currently Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs. Before joining Barrick, Mr. Dushnisky was a Managing Director of Altara Securities Inc. He is the former Vice-Chair, General Counsel and a founding Director of EuroZinc Mining Corporation and was President, CEO and a Director of one of its predecessor companies, International Vestor Resources Ltd. He is a former Vice-President of Sutton Resources Ltd. (acquired by Barrick in 1999) and was Senior Vice-President and a Director of Redcorp Ventures Inc. In addition to Blackstone, Mr. Dushnisky has held directorships with a number of public companies in the mining, oil and gas and hospitality sectors. He has written for a variety of publications and has served as a conference speaker, university guest lecturer, expert witness and adviser on regulatory matters to foreign governments.

Michael J. Knuckey, B. Sc. (Hons.), P. Geo.
Director
Mr. Michael J. Knuckey was appointed to the Board of Directors of Blackstone in April 2004. He retired in 2002 as Executive Vice President, Exploration and Project Development with Noranda/Falconbridge. During his distinguished 45-year career he was involved in the discovery and/or development of the world-class orebodies at Antamina in Peru, Collahuasi in Chile and Raglan in Quebec. Mr. Knuckey was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame in January 2004, following a career of unprecedented mine finding, a testament to his success and commitment to exploration. He was recognized for his leadership role in the discovery or development of at least 10 mineral deposits, eight of which have become mines and two of which are truly world class.

Tor Falck, B.A.
Director
Tor Falck was appointed to the Company's Board of Directors in January 2006. Over the past 40 years, Mr.. Falck has had a very successful career in the banking and financial industry in Europe. Based in London, England Mr. Falck was from 2003 to 2007 a key part of Bema Gold's European Investor Relations group. Mr.. Falck began his career in Norway as a financial analyst and broker, advising private and institutional clients. He has held senior positions in some of the larger brokerage houses in Europe including a 12 year period at Yorkton Securities Inc. and Canaccord Capital (Europe) where he focused on natural resources, mining and oil and gas industries.
